About 35 people attended the event, which raised concerns about domestic violence and available services in Taree and Forster, and across New South Wales, since the introduction of the State government's Going Home Staying Home policy in 2014.
The street theatre, titled The Golden Begging Bowl, involved several players and the aim was to make some very serious points but also to entertain.
The lead role of Mr Bromhead, MP, was played by Leonie McGuire.
Following the performance, the names of 11 women and a six-month-old baby boy killed by men since the start of this year were stuck to Mr Bromhead's office signage.
