In its 17th year, the annual festival hosted by Tea Gardens Hawks Nest Motor Club saw close to 400 vehicles exhibited and admired by eager motoring enthusiasts and curious onlookers alike.
Club secretary Ross Anderson said more than 2,500 people poured through the gate on the day and 45 different motor clubs were represented, with owners driving from as far afield as Sydney and Port Macquarie to show their wares.
Among the more striking vehicles on display was a 1964 Cadillac hearse - complete with coffin - and a convoy of MINI Coopers from a motor club in Sydney.
In addition there were Camaros, Mustangs, Chevrolets, Kombis and a whole horde of other classic models, as well as an interesting display by a local mechanical workshop showcasing vintage tuning equipment.

Mr Anderson said as always the local community got right behind the event, with nearly $10,000 being raised on the day for the local surf club, fire brigade and free clinic bus.
Asked about the key to the event’s success, which has more than doubled in size since its inception, Mr Anderson believed people enjoyed the novelty of it.
“The appeal is you see something you don’t see everyday - something unique, something attractive, and there’s a bit of nostalgia involved as well,” he said.
