MANNING skipper Danial Stone is likely to stick to his policy of bowling first in the final of the Mid North Coast inter-district over 35 cricket final against Hasting at Oxley Oval, Port Macquarie on Sunday.

"We usually like to have a bowl first, that seems to suit us,'' Stone said.
However, he conceded this didn't go to plan the last time Manning met Hastings during the preliminary rounds. Hastings scored 200 plus and Manning fell for 150.
"We started badly - we were 3/1 at one stage,'' Stone recalled.
He did say he will have a look at the wicket before making a decision on what to do should he win the toss.
"It'll depend if they have any rain up there - there's usually a bit in the wicket early at Oxley,'' he said.
Manning won the over 35 competition for the first time last season. Stone believes the 2018/19 version of the side is on par with last year.
"Most of our players can hold a bat and we have a bit of depth in our bowling,'' Stone said.
"Mick Clarke and Sean Carr are playing this season and they've been good.''
However, leading batsman Murray McCartney has a hamstring injury and almost certainly won't play.
"Muz will be a big loss,'' Stone said.
The match will start at 10am.
