The concert will be headlined by the Afro Moses Spirit Band with lead singer Afro also celebrating his birthday at the event.
The event will include music, African inspired food, data projections and an exhibition of Afro's colourful performance costumes from the 1970’s, 80’s and 90’s.
The twilight market will start at 2pm.
Luke Ligtenberg will entertain the crowd in the marketplace during the day.
Mondrook Market is focused around quality local, handmade, sustainable products and artisan wares. Rachelle, from Raw Earth Enviro-Education, and Afro Moses will be doing a rhythm and dance activity for all ages (by donation at the door).
Afro Moses Spirit Band will lead the line up later at 8pm, followed by a jam session with Afro's friends, local musicians and drummers.
Afro's music is based on a message of peace and unity. His concerts are said to be “feel good experiences which will inspire you to dance!”
Mondrook Market: 2-7 pm. Free entry.
African Spirit Concert 8pm-10.30pm. Entry $20 each, $50 family (two adults and the kids).
