With the Mid North Coast Cricket Premier League finals officially out of reach for the side, Taree West captain Josh Meldrum said the club will look to introduce new talent to the starting eleven before the end of the season.
“I think we’ll see a few young guys in the team now that we’re out of contention for the finals,” Josh said.
“It’s the best thing for the club to to get them ready for next season.”
Despite putting on 207 runs against United last Saturday, the side was unable to secure the win.
Josh was the star for the side, belting 125 runs (including 12 sixes).
West travel to Oxley Oval to meet Port Macquarie Pirates on Saturday.
