The markets will open at 4pm until 9pm.
Harrington Road fire
Coopernook Rural Fire Brigade 1 and Taree 1 were back out at the Harrington Road fire on Thursday, January 31 then both units went back out again for most of night and were joined by Diamond Beach 7.
They worked hard all that day and night and had done a fantastic job in strengthening the containment lines that were put in place earlier.
Also a huge thanks to Lansdowne Rural Fire Brigade for the loan of the Cat 9 which made patrolling the fire over the weekend so much easier. (It was later returned all spick and span.)
The extra assistance was very much appreciated.
No fish to weigh in
At their weekend outing the Lansdowne Fishing Club members had no fish to weigh in.
Several members went out to fish, but unfortunately come back empty handed.
The club’s next $50 seafood tray will be on tomorrow Saturday, February 9 at the Lansdowne Bowling and Recreation Club.
A reminder to fishing club members that the second monthly fishing weekend outing will be held on Saturday, February 16 at Wingham and their second outing for March will be a camp at Manning Point on the 8th, 9th and 10th. Names to be put on the list at the club if attending.
