Taree Rescue Squad hosted Tomo’s Truck Show on Sunday, January 27 at their headquarters on Muldoon Street.

It was a big day of fun for children and adults with truck displays, pony rides, a jumping castle and a barbecue.
A total of 11 trucks were on display, with some the beneficiary of awards.
A white Roboss from Nabiac won the best tip truck with Go Swift Transport picking up best rigid.
A Mac from Newcastle won the best old truck trophy and the oldest truck award went to a Bedford.
Proceeds from the event went to the rescue squad and Harrington Lions Club.
Organiser of the truck show Greg Thompson highlighted the success of the day.
“It raised $400 for the Rescue Squad, the Lions club was really happy and so was the coffee machine operator,” Greg said.
Originally a fundraiser for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, Greg moved the show to the rescue squad’s headquarters for 2019.
Taree Rescue Squad is always on the lookout for new members.
National accredited training through the group includes road crash, vertical and confined space, industrial and domestic, inland water and animal rescues.
