This follows the success of the two day event played at Taree Recreation Centre.
Taree was also the venue for the championships in January 2018.
“We’ve been asked by Northern Eagles if we’d be happy to have the championships here again and I told them we were fine with that,’’ Taree Touch president Graham Goodwin said.
However, Mr Goodwin has suggested the event be switched to mid-November.
“I think that’s a better time,’’ he explained.

“It’s not as hot then, our fields are in better condition and we’re not in the middle of school holidays,’’ he added.
A total of 58 sides – two more than 2018 – contested the championship.
“Originally there were 70 nominations, but some teams had to pull out because they didn’t have the numbers, with players away on holidays,’’ Mr Goodwin said.
He said there are no other major championships scheduled in November.
