TWO Manning players were members of winning NSW under 18 teams at the Australian Indoor Hockey Festival played at Gouburn.

Eamon Smith was goalkeeper for the boy's side that dominated the event, finishing the pool games in first position. This included a 11-1 win over ACT, a 6-0 decision over Victoria and a 6-1 win over Queensland.
The final was also one sided, with NSW leading 2-0 at halftime before recording a 6-1 win.
NSW was equally as dominant in the 18 girls, also finishing on top the ladder from the pool games. The Blues defeated Western Australia 7-2, ACT 4-1 and Victoria 7-1.
Lara Watts scored a goal in the first half of the gold medal match against Western Australia. NSW led 3-0 at halftime and went on to secure the championship by winning 7-2.
Lara scored six goals in seven games.
Tahni Walters from Taree umpired at the festival and controlled the bronze medal match in the under 18 girls.
Earlier in the week Eamon umpired at the under 13 championships in Goulburn.
Kurt Walters was a member of the winning NSW Stars in the under 13s, where he was also the leading goal scorer. Brady Cross played with NSW Lions under 13s, the silver medalists.
Abby Watts was a member of the bronze medal winning NSW under 13 girls while Tilley Hunter claimed a silver with NSW under 15 girls after losing the final to Queensland in a penalty shootout.
