Julie Adamson, Jade Page, Warren Blanche and Maureen Pratten secured a spot in the Mid North Coast female and male teams.
Team members were selected from Mid North Coast teams located in areas from Forster through to Coffs Harbour.
Port Macquarie hosted selection trials on December 9, with paddlers required to do a timed and filmed 100 metre solo paddle, a full crew timed and filmed paddle, and a two-minute weight adjusted session on a rowing machine.

Manning Dragons publicity officer, Julie Adamson took part in the selection trial and said the filmed trials allowed for paddlers to be assessed on individual technique, to see how much water they pulled through with their paddle, and performance and technique within a full crew.
Thirty women trialled for 12 spots and Julie said she was delighted to be selected as one of two drummers, and may also paddle in the mixed team.
She said training starts this Sunday, January 20 in Port Macquarie for male and female Mid North Coast team members, and would continue fortnightly and then weekly closer to the competition.
The teams are in preparation for a regatta event in Sydney on January 27.
Julie said Manning River Dragons was also adjusting its regular training to assist the four paddlers to meet their strength and endurance targets.
