The organisers hail it as another success. And it was another hot day, with a top temperatures of 32 degrees Celsius recorded
TasteFest is now in its third year and it will return in January 2020, when the riverbank stage will be available.
The highly successful producers dinner in the evening was a new addition to the program and was a sellout. It was held in the grand marquee.
Organisers were excited when the Manning Valley Push 4 Palliative Care group offered to coordinate the dinner, featuring local producers’ products, as many small local producers were unable to attend TasteFest for a variety of reasons. This year gate donations will go to Push 4 Palliative and Can Assist Manning Valley.
Another highlight was the collaboration with Wingham Akoostik Festival which saw live music on two stages throughout the event.
Work on the riverbank stage will start in March. The project is supports by Rotary and Lions clubs, the CivicHeart group and community.
