According to the Bureau of Meteorology, the clouds will part over the weekend and provide mostly sunny and warm conditions.
For the remainder of Friday (December 7), it’s expected to be partly cloudy reaching a maximum of 25 degrees. There is a very slight chance of rain with winds becoming light in the evening.
Saturday (December 8) is predicted to be mostly sunny with a top temperature of 27 degrees. Light winds becoming northeasterly 20 to 25 km/h in the morning with a slight chance of rain.
Things are predicted to heat up a little more on Sunday (December 9) with a maximum temperature of 29 degrees. It’s expected to be mostly sunny with winds northeasterly 15 to 20 kph becoming light during the morning then becoming northeasterly 20 to 30 kph during the day.
The BOM recommends sun protection from 8.20am to 5pm throughout the weekend with the UV Index predicted to reach extreme.
