East Coast takes in Groups Two and Three and the Northern Rivers Region Rugby League (NRRRL).
Mr Bridge was elected last year and has previously held the position. He is expected to again be opposed by NRRL chairman Brian Rix. It is unknown if anyone from Group Two would also stand. Group Two's annual meeting was held earlier this week.
The regional president also gains a place on the Country Rugby League board of management.
Mr Bridge will attend the East Coast meeting with Group Three vice presidents Geoff Kelly and Warren Blissett. Mr Kelly from Port Macquarie and Mr Blissett from Forster were both elected at last weekend’s group AGM held at the Wingham Services Club.
Mr Bridge said the proposed merger between the Country Rugby League and the NSW Rugby League in 2020 won’t have an impact on the regional structure of the CRL.
“The merger will bring together to boards of the NSW Rugby League and the CRL,’’ Mr Bridge explained.
“I don’t think there’ll be any change to the current CRL structure, at least in the short term.’’
