The school raised $1676 from their Hay Day fundraiser last term. Coles then came on board to match the donation.
Taree High School’s Kerrie Davy said the school was driven to raise the funds.
“The kids really got behind it,” Kerrie said.
“All of our activities were really well supported.”
Coles’ Lance Styles was thrilled the school dedicated themselves to support the drought relief appeal.
“It’s a great opportunity for community groups to fund raise and the feedback we’ve received from farmers is that every little bit has made a difference,” Lance said.
The school also donated two baskets worth of household items that will be given to farmers.
