Sullivan will be in Wingham later this month. A club junior who also played for Taree City, Sullivan returns to Group Three after stints in the NRL with Cronulla and Canterbury while he also played in the English Super League with Warrington. He has captain-coached Group 10 club Orange CYMS since 2010, where he won five premierships. Last season's captain-coach, Danny Russell, is staying with the Tigers next year.
Wingham secretary Mark Spencer said there has been interest in the minor grade coaching positions.
“But we’ll have a talk to Mick before we announce who has the positions,’’ he said.
He confirmed the Tigers will have an under 18.5s in 2019 after the club failed to field a team this year.
There was one change to the club’s executive at the annual meeting held on Sunday.
Scott Blanch returns as president after having 12 months off. Craig Martin held down the president and treasurer’s role this year but will now concentrate on the treasurer’s role.
Mark Spencer is the secretary with Steven Blanch the vice president.
