I was happy to read the Taree doctor's message of thanks just now, for being assisted in paying for his meal at Aldi.

It has reminded me how only last week, not until after I'd gathered a trolley load of food did I recall that I'd left my phone at home and couldn't check my bank bank balance (or transfer some money) .
My card did not work, so I asked for my trolley to be held while I raced off to a teller machine.
When I returned, I quietly told the shop assistant that I'd only managed to get half of the cash I needed, and had to return some items.
He told me to join the line with my trolley. When I got to him he showed me a $20 note someone had left to give to me. They'd already left and I also couldn't thank them.
It is such a warm feeling when a stranger has your back. Thank you kind strangers! Also thanks to the kind checkout worker who also put in some coins to assist my purchase.
