Bream and luderick catches have been down and while there are still fish to catch the numbers are not impressive,
Flathead numbers are on the rise but there are more fish up-river than down in the mouth of the estuary.
Three nice kingfish were landed earlier in the week from the river wall, with the largest at 13kgs caught on a soft plastic.
Kingfish come into the estuary on first light and patrol along the wall for a couple of hours before moving out to sea.
The beaches have been quiet with no reports coming in of tailor catches.
Outside fishing has also been quiet with catches of small snapper on the drift reported.
