The 140th Taree Show will be held this weekend, October 5-7 at the Taree Showground featuring all the old favourites, as well as some exciting new attractions.

Pony club events, beef and dairy cattle judging, fruit and vegetable and arts and crafts judging will all take place on the Friday, with pavilions opening to the public on Saturday.
New this year will be grain judging.
There will be a sideshow alley on both Saturday and Sunday as well as Noah’s racing pigs, the kiddies corner, face painting, balloons and Troppo Bob.
This year, the show will also host the NSW chainsaw racing championships over both days.
The show will be officially opened at 2pm on Saturday by Nikki Gibbs, the Land Sydney Royal Easter Show winner for 2018.

The 2018 Taree Showgirl will also be crowned on Saturday.
The Rooftop Express Show will feature at the show for the first time on Saturday night.
Expect Brumbies, Brahmans and never before seen stunts in this interactive family event. A huge fireworks display will finish off the Saturday celebrations.
On Sunday show goers can see horse events and goat judging.
There will also be a pet show for kids under 17 to enter with their pets, along with the championship dog show held by Mid North Coast Canine Club, and of course the wood-chop.
Crowd favourite, the demolition derby will close the show.
Entry: Family $25 (two adults/two children), adults $10, child 5-18 years $5 and pensioner $5. Friday is free entry.
