This was announced at the FMNC awards night held at Laurieton.
Campbell’s Taree Wildcat side bowed out of the Football Mid North Coast Premier League premiership race when beaten by Port United in the elimination semi-final.
Logan Morgan from Wallis Lake, premier league grand finalists, was the most successful goal keeper, earning the Golden Gloves award. He had eight clean sheets and only conceded 10 goals during the regular season.
Cundletown Jets was named the community club of the year, while Wallis Lake was the premier league club of the year. Wallis Lake qualified for the first and reserve grade grand finals played at Tuncurry, but lost both.
John top volunteer
GLOUCESTER’S John Hughes was named the Football Mid North Coast volunteer of the year.
This was announced at the award night held at Laurieton.h Doreen Dickinson from South West Rocks the administrator of the year.
Brian Tyrell (Great Lakes United) was coach of the year while Bulahdelah’s Zac Fletcher was named junior referee of the year. The senior referee award went to Charles Adnum from Port Macquarie.
Paul Eames (Camden Haven), John Hughes (Gloucester) and Sabino Ragno (Tuncurry-Forster) were acknowledged for their 40 years of service to football.
