The side – known as In and Out, thumped the Taree combination, Underarmers, led by Rhett Thomson by eight wickets in the final played at the Chris Dempsey Field at Old Bar.
“They’re a group of blokes who have met through Last Man Stands cricket,’’ LMS Mid North Coast manager Trent Thomson explained.
“So when there’s a tournament on they get together and see who is available and go from there.’’
Nine teams nominated for the carnival. Forster Mowers and Taree West Cricket Club were the other semi-finalists.
Trent Thomson said the tournament was successful and he’s received positive feedback.
“Everything ran smoothly and the weather was perfect for cricket,’’ he said.
Jeremy Kirk from In and Out was named the Nick Larkin player of the tournament.
Thomson hopes to attract 12 teams to next year’s tournament
