“We’ve sold lots of tickets, but plenty more can be purchased from Club Old Bar, or at the door on the night, and we guarantee 100 per cent of funds raised will go directly to helping drought affected farmers in our rotary district.”
Kicking off at 6.30pm, the fundraising concert will feature Old Bar talent, Richard Crook, alongside musical trio, Rock N Country Revival and a number of special guests.
Local personality, Bruce Moy is lined up as the guest speaker for the event, he will also be auctioning off a number of items donated by local businesses.
“We have had so many small and large local businesses jump on board,” Laurie explained, “there have been a lot of financial and gift donations made, there will also be raffles, lucky door prizes and plenty going on, it’ll be a great community event.”
Tickets are $10 each, and those attending are encouraged to pop on their favourite flanny and get on board with a fantastic night out, all in support of our local farmers.
“The funds raised will be distributed to struggling farming families in Rotary District 9650, and people from the National Farmers Association and the CWA are assisting us in the process of identifying those families,” Laurie added.
