Students held a range of activities that have raised nearly $5000.
A lamington drive was held in conjunction with Harrington Bakehouse.
This raised $2425 from the sale of more than 328 dozen lamingtons.
Primary students held a 20 cent afternoon that raised $482.
A ‘dress as a farmer day’ raised $1051 while a farmer themed senior social raised $821.
The school’s canteen sold farmer ‘meal deals’ with a percentage from each being donated.
Students also wrote prayers of encouragement to farmers.
These were put with food hampers that will be distributed to farmers.
Ray White Taree delivered the funds to Tamworth while the Salvation Army packaged the hampers with the letters.
Donations can be made at the R U AWARE WE CARE website.
