Taking a class at Stacey Lee’s Centre Stage gives children more than just singing, dancing and acting skills.
It gives them a huge boost to their confidence and self belief.
For the past five years principal Stacey Lee has been teaching children with a passion for the performance arts.
Stacey’s own love of musical theatre and extensive experience in productions saw her start her business from home, hoping to share her knowledge and skills to a few interested students.
“It just took off like crazy,” said Stacey.
“I never expected it to go so well, so quickly.”
But it went better than that and soon Stacey’s classes were full.
Realising that a lot of kids were missing out, Stacey has now teamed up with fellow performer and teacher Tim Gibbs, welcoming him to her studio as creative director.
A professional vocal coach and drama and music theatre coach, Tim has much to offer his students.
Tim has worked professionally on the international stage most notably on London's West End appearing in award winning productions such as Grease, Oliver and the world premier of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang alongside Michael Ball.
TV credits include UK series The Bill and Star Wars Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace Gladiator.
In 2018 Tim takes on his most challenging role yet starring as Jean Valjean in Taree Arts Council’s production of Les Miserables at the Manning Entertainment Centre.
“It’s fantastic for our area to have Tim here,” said Stacey.
At Stacey’s two studios students can enhance their singing, dancing and acting skills in group or private lessons.

All ages are welcome with classes from age three right through to adult.
Both Tim and Stacey share a passion for building their student’s self belief and confidence while they develop their singing, dancing and acting skills.
And it’s not just about technique.
“We teach them how to perform,” said Stacey.
“It’s the whole shebang.”
Above all, the main aim of Stacey and Tim is for their students to have fun, whilst performing and learning in a safe, nurturing and encouraging environment.
Making sure each child feels comfortable in their own skin and embraces their unique qualities is paramount to Stacey and Tim.
