The sessions will be held at Taree, Wingham, Forster, Hallidays Point, Harrington, Tea Gardens and Stroud between August 18 and 24.
As Gloucester Library will be closed during Book Week due to ongoing upgrades, a storytime session will be held there on Monday, September 3.
MidCoast Council’s library services manager Chris Jones said the sessions give families an opportunity to celebrate Book Week.
“Everyone's welcome to drop into one of the MidCoast Libraries during Book Week and check out the display of winning titles for the Australian Children's Book of the Year awards," Mr Jones said.
“Book Week provides an opportunity to celebrate the joy of books and reading with a focus on Australian authors and illustrators.
“Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy hearing some of the best children's books for 2018 come alive at storytime,” Mr Jones said.
Regular storytime dates and times can be found at the MidCoast Libraries website.
This year’s Book Week theme is ‘Find Your Treasure’.
