The woman was driving along Little Street, Forster at approximately 2.15pm today, Tuesday, July 10 when the car flipped and landed on its roof near the Bruce Street roundabout.
The vehicle hit a post before rolling, according to a witness.
Both the woman and the baby passenger were shaken but not seriously hurt.
According to a member of the small crowd, who ran to the woman’s assistance, she had just secured her Provisional P1 licence earlier in the day.
Police, Fire and Rescue and NSW Ambulance attended the scene.
