Manning Great Lakes Police District officers have reminded the public to remove all valuables from vehicles while they are parked after a number of vehicles in the Forster Tuncurry area were broken into on July 7 and 8.

Residents are advised to ensure windows are closed properly, the vehicle is fully secure and is parked in well lit areas as “valuables in plain sight are an invitation for opportunistic crime.”
