During the past Rotary year, more than $44,000 was donated to local and international charities and organisations by the Rotary Club of Taree.
In addition, almost 1000 voluntary community hours were served by the club’s members.
President David Denning said the club was performing at an exceptionally high level and he was honoured to have been its president for 2017-2018.
During the evening, three people were presented with one of Rotary’s highest honours, a Paul Harris Fellow recognition. They were community member Sue Green and Rotarians Murray Difford and Mark Drury.
The club meet Mondays at 6pm at Club Taree (Taree RSL and Golf Club).
