MATTHEW Walz romped home to win his fourth Saxbys Taree Golf Club championship last weekend with a four-round score of 304, 15 ahead of runner up Jimmy Weeks (319).

B-grade champion for 2018 Brian Warwick (351) who prevailed over runner up Bailey Pitman (352) by the single shot. Michael Pitman (370) won the C-grade championship eight shots ahead of runner up George Baird (378). Senior champion is Ray Webber (322) who shot up the leader board with a great final round of 76.
Danny Bisby junior champion last year from C-grade again won the junior championship this year firmly entrenched in A-grade with a score of 344.
A-grade net champion is Ray Webber with a net score of 290 for the four rounds. Ian Pomplun (295) was runner up. In B-grade the net champion is Steven Nye (299) followed closely by John Hurrell (302) as runner up.
Tim Magin’s third round net 66 put him in the box seat for the C-grade net championship ten ahead of Paul Dalton (309) runner up.
