Seven Aboriginal Community Liaison Officers (ACLOs) will spend the week in the Manning and Great Lakes aiming to build relationships between the Aboriginal community and Taree Police.

“They are all highly trained and have a range of experiences,’’ Superintendent Shane Cribb, commander of the Manning Great Lakes Police District explained.
The seven come from Orange, Tamworth, Tweed-Byron and Gilgrandra.
“All have different skills,’’ Superintendent Cribb said.
They will identify members of the community with the eventual aim of working closer with police. Those who are engaged will be invited to attend a ‘Coffee with the Commander’’ morning on Thursday with Superintendent Cribb.
