I enjoy the Times and the Mount Stickity Stack stories were a nice bit of escapism.
Now, I shall lean towards Peter and warn him there will be a flood in the future … sometime! Take heed to entering any sort of competition - just stick to his day job.
If he loses AGAIN in any guessing competition and is requested to do penance outside the matrimonial home, he could choose any of the following. The half-way house at Taree Golf Course, Apex Lookout, the old baths site … all free abodes, or apply for a part-pension for Dawson River Caravan Park. Mind you the easterly view from the baths would take in the numbing reminder of Mount Stickity Stack.
With winter asking some questions, I for one would forward some canned soup to an above temporary residence. Also, I have noticed a pre-loved two-seater lounge in Edinburgh Drive awaiting council clean up.
