A total of $838.05 was raised for cancer research when the Community of Christ Church in Taree hosted Australia Biggest Morning Tea.

A delicious morning tea was prepared and served by the church ladies for almost 60 people.
Participants were beautifully entertained by the Green Cathedral Community Choir and guest speakers for the morning were from the Oncology and Immunology Unit at Manning Hospital.
It was very encouraging to hear the nurses speak of the progress being made in the treatment of cancer, and also to learn more about our facilities in Taree, and the improvements being made.
Lucky door prizes and games helped make it a fun time for all.
“We are very grateful to all who donated gifts or made a contribution in any way to make our morning the huge success it was,” a church spokesman said.
