However, the Manning has continued to produce good catches of bream, flathead, mulloway, luderick and tailor.
Tailor can be caught early in the morning at sunrise and for a little while after on metal lures.
Some small mulloway have also been taken by tailor anglers. The larger mulloway to 22kgs have been caught on live baits, plastic lures and metal slices.
Bream are eating mullet strips, mullet gut and yabbies fished with a light sinker
Slack water around low and high tide is the best time for bream.
Luderick are being caught on green weed during the day and live yabbies at night.
Flathead are biting best up-river on plastics and hard bodied lures.
Tailor and whiting have been caught from Crowdy beacd when conditions allow
