I didn’t appreciate the article denigrating the Bible or referring to Jesus Christ as making “a John Farnham style comeback,” or ‘some politician announcing billions of dollars worth of funding.’ Also making an absolute joke of Jesus Christ’s promised return, (not to set up residence.)

I believe these comments would be better suited to a private conversation between two atheists in a pub on The Last Day, than in a news paper read across the Manning by 61 per cent of the population who consider themselves Christian.
Ask yourselves, what would be the reaction of the Muslim community, just 2.6 per cent of the population, if you had denigrated Mohamad or the Koran, or the LGBT community, just 1.2 per cent of the population, or the Aboriginal community just 3.3 per cent of the community, if you had insulted and discriminated against them in such a fashion. I believe there would have been riots!
Enough, the writer of this article should apologise for his offensive, denigrating and discrimination of my faith, Christianity.
