The forum will aim to address growing rates of family violence, with the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare's latest report revealing the issue is more common than ever.
Dame Quentin reported to the Queensland government on the issue in 2015, with one of her 140 recommendations calling for better stakeholder collaboration.
"The purpose of this event is to respond to those recommendations and provide an opportunity for collaboration," forum organiser Suzanne Reich said.
Supreme Court judge Ian Dearden and Queensland magistrate Barbara Tynan are among the other speakers.
The two-day symposium, hosted by the University of Southern Queensland, begins on Thursday.
