She immediately fell in love with the land Down Under, and while completing her law degree in Yorkshire grabbed every chance to head back to the sunny beaches of NSW.
“I knew I’d been smitten by Australia, the golden beaches, and especially the warm friendly people. I just loved it here, in particular the New England area and the Manning Valley,” she said.
In 2009 Tamaryn made the big jump and migrated to the country she loved. She completed a conversion law degree, was admitted as a solicitor, married an Australian and settled in the region she loved.
“I grew up visiting the beach at Whitby – which is where Captain Cook grew up – but it is nothing compared to the long beautiful sandy beaches of Australia,” she said.
She already has wide experience in many aspects of legal practice including family law, court appearances, employment law, insurance disputes, immigration matters and estate planning.
When Tamaryn is not working hard to help her clients she is caring for three dogs, three goats, a husband and encouraging her orchids to grow.
Justin Stack, managing director at Stacks Law Firm in Taree, welcomed Tamaryn to the firm.
“Tamaryn brings wide experience to Stacks, and it adds to the firm to have people who bring a different perspective to aspects of law to better assist our clients,” Mr Stack said.
