The marchers gathered at the corner of Waterman Street and Old Bar Road for commencement of march at noon to Club Old Bar.
The decision was made earlier to hold the service in the club, in light of rain earlier.
Manning Valley Concert Band provided the music for the commemoration service.
Taking part in the march and service along with the returned servicemen and women were representatives from Old Bar Public School, Taree Christian College, Air Force cadets, sporting organisations, Scouts, SES, RFS and Taree Rescue Squad.
Earlier at Taree, the main march proceeded under drizzling skies but the rain held off for the main service at gthe memorial clock.
