A 3½ minute pre-teen anthem, this song is sure to put Chelsea on the singer/songwriter career path.
Although sounding twice her age, Chelsea exhibits strength, control, power, conviction, sweetness and passion, all in her first ever original song.
Recorded, engineered, mixed and mastered using local musicians in Taree’s own Momentum Studios, “Falling For You”, engineered by Braden Groundwater and produced by Peter Groundwater, was released simultaneously this week on all digital platforms including Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Amazon Music, etc.
The video, released on YouTube also this week, was produced locally by Art House Media, and directed by the talented videographer and photographer, Joshua Sgarano. It can be seen on YouTube using this URL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ag2_3PZfhAY and features a lively performance from Chelsea alongside her other MVAC friends and peers.
A long term guitar, piano and singing student of Newtonemusic and Songlines Studio, Chelsea has also been MVAC school dux a number years running, as well as a keen sports and martial artist. However, as far as her career ambitions go, she said “No, I only want to do music”.
Chelsea is already planning her next recording and challenges other youngsters to follow her example and to “never give up but to strive to be the best they can and really pursue what they want to be, no matter how long it takes, or how hard it is”.
“The team at Momentum Studios were so easy to work with so please tell others to contact them if they have promising young hopefuls,” she said.
Chelsea will perform “Falling For You” and other songs during the upcoming 51st annual Taree and District Eisteddfod which commenced on April 24 at the Manning Entertainment Centre. Eisteddfod programs, syllabuses, results, etc are available by visiting the www.tareeeisteddfod.com.au website.
