Wingham: 9am Anzac Church Service, Uniting Church, Farquhar Street, Wingham. All denominational service conducted by Rev Darrell MacKeough and Eric Richardson OAM, followed by morning tea and fellowship. All welcome.
Tuesday April 24
Wingham: 4.30pm War Graves Anzac Service at Wingham Cemetery. Service to remember those who have fallen in all wars and conflicts.
Anzac Day
Dawn Service
Black Head: Gather from 6am at the ocean baths.
Bulahdelah: The dawn service will take place at the cenotaph on Meade Street at 6am. Form-up is 15 minutes before that.
Coopernook: A service will be held at 5.45am at the Coopernook War Memorial.
Gloucester: Dawn service at Gloucester Memorial Park Cenotaph Clock Tower, 7 Memorial Park Lane at 5.30am. The public are invited to attend the dawn service. This will be followed at 6.30am by wreath laying at the Memorial Gates, Saint Paul's Anglican Church, 61 Ravenshaw Street; 7am wreath laying at Gloucester Cemetery, Cemetery Road; 7.15am wreath laying at the Gloucester District Historical Society Museum, 12 Church Street and 7.45am breakfast at the Gloucester Soldiers Club, 32 Denison Street.
Harrington/Crowdy Head: Assemble at 5.45am at the Harrington War Memorial for the dawn service commencing at 6am.
Lansdowne: The dawn service will be at 4.45am at the memorial at Lansdowne Bowling and Recreation Club. Breakfast will follow and be by gold coin donation.
Nabiac: Nabiac Public School school leaders will again have the honour of running the Dawn Service at 6am.
Old Bar: Assemble at 5.15am at corner of Clerke and David Sts. Old Bar for commencement of March to the Soldiers’ Memorial Hall. Dawn service and wreath laying 5.30am. At the conclusion, a light breakfast will be provided.
Pacific Palms: Commemoration Service at the Community Centre, The Lakes Way, Pacific Palms 6am.
Taree: Muster 5am in Manning Street, for parade to the Memorial Clock and service at 5.45am. Breakfast for sub-branch members at Club Taree to follow.
Tea Gardens: Dawn service at 6am, Anzac Park, Marine Drive, Tea Gardens.
Tuncurry: Dawn service at 6am, Lone Pine Memorial Park, Tuncurry.
Stroud: Service at 6am at Stroud Memorial Centopah.
Wingham: Muster corner of Isabella and Queen Streets at 5am for the short march to Wingham Memorial Town Hall for the 5.30am service at cenotaph.
Main Service
Bulahdelah
A march will form up at 10.15am at the Bulahdelah Community Hospital. The march will proceed down Crawford and Stroud Streets to the cenotaph on Meade Street. The service at the cenotaph will commence at 11am. There will be two-up from 2pm at Bulahdelah Bowling Club.
Gloucester
Participants in the Anzac Day march assemble outside Gloucester Soldiers Club at 10.15am for wreath laying at 10.25 and the commencement of march at 10.30am. Guard supplied by CPL and four soldiers from Singleton leading the march.
Harrington/Crowdy Head
ssemble at 10.45am at the Harrington Butchery, on the corner of Goode and Beach Street. The march will begin around 11am and progress to a service at the memorial hall.
Lansdowne
The main service will be at 11am at the memorial at the Lansdowne Bowling and Recreation Club. All those that are marching are requested to assemble by 10.45am at the club. A luncheon will follow the service in the club. 2UP will commence at 1pm in the club auditorium.
Krambach
Assembling at 10.30am at Leo Carney Park, near the tennis courts, for a wreath laying ceremony at memorial. The march will proceed to Krambach Hall for another wreath laying ceremony and the service will be conducted inside hall. The hall committee provides lunch at $7 per head – contact Fay Deer 6559 1562.
Nabiac
Muster at 11am outside Nabiac Public School for the march to the cenotaph for the main service.
Old Bar
Assemble in Waterman Street between Old Bar Road and Bryan Street at 11.45am for commencement of march at approximately noon to Club Old Bar main entrance, Belford Street. The Anzac Service and wreath laying ceremonies will start at approximately 12.30pm and finish at about 1.30pm.
The Taree City Band will be assisting with the march and providing music for the service but are unable to provide entertainment in the club this year. You are also invited to a free sausage sizzle in the club after the service.
Two-up to commence at 2pm. Because RSL sub-branches in NSW are currently prevented for carrying out any fund raising, the proceeds from these activities will for the benefit of the Old Bar Soldiers' Memorial Hall, which is not an RSL entity.
Stroud
March and main service begins at 8.30am at the Stroud Memorial Cenotaph.
Taree
Muster begins at 9.30am in Macquarie Street, Taree to step off at 10am. The Manning Valley Great Lakes Light Horse Troop to head the parade and the Women’s Ex-Services Association will lead the service organisations. The parade arrives at the Memorial Clock at 10.30am for the main service.
Tea Gardens
Anzac Day march forms up at 10.30am from Ogden Street to Anzac Park for the 11am commemoration and wreath laying ceremony.
Tuncurry
Anzac Day march commences at 10.30am from Parkes Street, Tuncurrym with 11am commemoration service and wreath laying.
Wingham
The main march will be from Bent Street to Wingham Memorial Town Hall, with 9.15am assembly in Bent Street outside Wingham Services Club
At 9.45am the parade will commence and march to the Wingham Memorial Town Hall via Bent and Farquhar Streets. The Manning Valley Pipes and Drums Band will lead the march gathering outside the Wingham Memorial Town Hall for the wreath laying ceremony and the 2018 Anzac Commemorative Service. On completion there will be a Diggers Lunch at Wingham Memorial Services Club.
Wingham Court: 11.30am service at Wingham Court, directed by Marie Hatchwell and Sandy Brooks. Bugler Lincoln Harrell.
