This will be from the under six to under 16.5 grades.
Two gala days – one for the non competitive age groups (under sixes to under nines) and the other for the under 10s to 16.5s were conducted to usher in the season. The sixes to nines were at Port Macquarie with the 10s to 16.5s at the Taree Recreation Centre.
Group Three Junior Rugby League president Warren Blissett from Forster said player numbers are generally on par with previous years. However, there has been a rise in numbers in the younger age divisions, which he said is pleasing.
Group Three Junior League will run until grand final day in September.
