The forum was also attended by students from around the Manning region, Port Macquarie and Kempsey areas.
Students attended a lecture to give them an introduction to careers in health including midwifery, radiology, occupational therapy, medicine, nursing, nutrition and dietetics and physiotherapy.
They then had a chance to choose four practical workshops to participate in hands on activities aimed at giving them an idea of what people in these jobs actually do on a day to day basis.
The purpose of the activities and the day was to encourage students to consider a professional career in health.
