Not only will the Festival highlight the diversity of the many talented people in the Manning Valley, but it also celebrates the 3ath Anniversary of PCYC Taree and its ongoing extensive range of programs for children, the young and the not-so- young.
Thirty years on, PCYC Taree welcomes community support to raise funds to upgrade its facilities for children and young people of the present and the future.
For many years the amazing success of the PCYC Taree Gymaroos has been locally acclaimed. In recent years they have also travelled and performed overseas, representing Australia`s youth at international gymnastic competitions.
What is perhaps not so well known is that there are a number of other special PCYC programs for children from two years of age through to adults.
As a forerunner to Festival time a ‘Manning Magic’ Luncheon will be held at PCYC Taree on Sunday, March 25. Special guest speaker will be Australian author, Di Morrissey.
Local PCYC young people will be performing and helping out. They will also be showcasing their talents at other Festival events.
“PCYC is honoured to be partnered with the 2018 Manning Winter Festival to raise funds and awareness of the incredibly creative youth in our community,” said PCYC Taree manager, Justin Hayes.
