There should be 50 or more exhibitors promoting their services and/or products to the community, as well as guest speakers.
Put this date in your diary and let all your friends know.
The previous expos have been vibrant and very interesting. You will be surprised at the range of services available in our district.
Poppy project underway
Old Bar's white poppy project is off to a start, with some poppies being collected already.
If you would like to be part of this project, or know someone who would, the patterns can be collected from the CTC (opposite Vinnies) and the completed poppies can be left there.
They are needed to be collected by Anzac Day, which is not far away now.
Business and community association first 2018 meeting
The first meeting of the Old Bar Manning Point Business and Community Association was held at the surf club last week.
Disappointingly, only six members were in attendance.
The association's website is now operating with links to other relevant sites.
The footpath to the beach seems completed. Next, the footpath will extend around Ungala Road to the school.
The next major project that is being undertakes is the construction of 10 bus shelters in the area.
The funding has been approved and it is hoped that the work can be completed using local contractors.
Council has supplied the approved design.
