Police are appealing for information after a spate of break and enter offences at commercial premises in the Nabiac township between January 29 and February 6.

About $600 in gold coins were stolen from commercial premises in the early hours on January 29.
“Have you encountered any person who has been in possession of an unusually large quantity of gold coins in the Manning/Great Lakes area?” police from the Manning/Great Lakes Police District Crime Management Unit ask.
“Perhaps these coins were exchanged for notes or used to buy large ticket items from your business. If so, please let us know.”
In a separate incident in the early hours on Wednesday, February 7, 60 packets of cigarettes were stolen from a Nabiac commercial premises.
“Have you seen any person with a large quantity of cigarettes? Have you been offered to buy a packet of cigarettes privately and below the recommended retail price (RRP)? If so, please let police know.”
The cigarettes include Longbeach 40s and 20s, JPS Superkings, Bond Street 25s, and Cafe Cream Cigars.
