TAREE West moved to fifth place on the McDonalds Mid North Coast Premier League cricket ladder with a win over Port City in the only match completed in a rain-marred round.

This is Taree West's third successive victory and the side remains unbeaten in 2018.
Port Leagues Magpies batted first and compiled 9/131 from their 40 overs.
Ryan Williams again led the way for Taree West, finishing with 3/18 while Dean Mills took 2/29. Taree West had to score quickly to make the revised total of 100 following rain interruptions. The West lost five wickets before making the target.Mills made 29 in a handy double and captain Josh Meldrum smashed 28 in the chase.
Taree West now sits just three points off fourth placed Nulla. Macquarie still leads with 56 from Wingham on 51 and United and Nulla both on 49.
Rovers (44), Port City (42) and Wauchope (39) are still in contention for a finals berth, while Port Panthers on 19 are in last place.
At Andrews Park Wauchope put up an aggressive 8/237 in the clash against Port Panthers. Matt Miller top scored with a swashbuckling 61 including four sixes while Jason Blythe with 49 also contributed. Pirates captain Ben Woodward took 3/54. Port Pirates started the run chase but then the heavens opened and that was that.
At Wayne Richards Park in Port Macquarie United batted and put together 131 in the 37th over. Captain Ricky Campbell opened and top scored with 40. For Nulla, Captain Ben Taylor as always among the wickets and took 3/20. At innings break the rain came and there was not further play.
At Cedar Party Reserve in Wingham in the top-of-the-ladder fixture Macquarie batted first and finished with 129 in the 33rd over, reduced due to weather from 40 overs. Wingham batted, and at 1/19 the rain came and that was it for the day.
