The newlywed Mrs Paez – nee Morello – was born and raised in Batemans Bay, before moving to Canberra to finish her schooling and pursue her passion for makeup.
She was living in Batemans Bay when she became fascinated by YouTube bloggers.
Inspired, she began creating makeup tutorial videos and uploading them to the internet.
Her makeup skills and sense of humour soon won her a loyal following, which has grown to more than 2.5 million followers on YouTube.
Father of the bride Ennio Morello, of the Araluen Motel in Batehaven, looked dapper in a duck-egg-blue suit jacket and red tie.
Mother Julie Bambach was beautiful in a blue and white dress and natural makeup.
The ceremony was held aboard luxury boat SeaDeck, which was decked out for the occasion in mountains of flowers and strings of fairy lights.
Looking as though she had just stepped out of a fairytale herself, the new Mrs Paez wore a custom-made gown by Australian designer Steven Khalil, with a gauzy veil.
Mrs Paez said more important than clothes and decor were the guests.
“It was everything we dreamt of,” she said.
“A laidback evening on the harbour with everyone we love and adore.
“So many people from all over Australia and the world travelled just to celebrate with us.
“It was perfect.”
Mr and Mrs Paez met in Sydney in 2016. They dated for a little over a year before Mr Paez proposed while they were on a kayaking adventure in Canada.
The wedding showcased their love for one another – and sense of humour. Celebrant Gary Reilly promised maximum laughs and minimum sermonising – and he delivered (with a little help from the equally witty Mrs Paez).
Asked what he would change about his bride, Mr Paez said: “Nothing.”
Both bride and groom are talented dancers, and took the opportunity to show off their moves with a sensational salsa for their first dance. Family and guests shared their enthusiasm.
“We partied until late at night,” Mrs Paez said.
“Even my grandmother was on the dance floor until the end!”
