A bumper crowd was on hand for the fireworks display at the Manning River foreshore on New Year’s Eve.

Hundreds of families and visitors lined the foreshore to view the spectacular 15 minute display.
Celebrations kicked off at 5pm in Queen Elizabeth Park with music from the Dingo Creek String Band and Kyle Shilling as well as carnival and food stalls, novelties and rides for the children.
Many took to the Manning River Times Facebook page to show their appreciation of the fireworks display.
“I’m impressed, the fireworks seemed better this time,” wrote Narelle Mckenzie.
“Best fireworks I’ve seen for years,” wrote Michelle Gaye.
“Awesome display. For a relative small county town it was great to see so many people line the river bank for a wonderful display of celebrations,” wrote Leanne Clarke.
