Held in perfect weather, the markets were well supported by stallholders, with market-goers spoiled for choice.
The markets are organised by the Crowdy Harrington Marine Rescue and are held on Oxley Reserve.
John Gollan Day is part of the Harrington Festival being conducted during January. It is named in honour of the pioneer.
January 1 also marks the start of the Lower Manning Tagged Fish Round-up. A total of 25 tagged fished were recently released in the river in readiness for the competition. The top fish carries $700 prizemoney.
