There’s one round remaining before the Christmas/New Year break, however, Taree West has the bye.
A hat-trick to Shane Manny highlighted Taree West’s bowling performance as Pirates were bundled out for 109. Manny finished with 4/14 from eight overs.
Port made 109 with captain Ben Woodward scored 36 and opener Suva Bose 33.
Taree West took just 20 overs to overhaul the total. Skipper Josh Meldrum blasted 60 from 38 balls. Mick Forster was the best of the bowlers finishing with 3/16.
United slumped to a third successive loss when beaten by Kempsey side Rovers in a thriller at picturesque Laurieton Oval.
Captain Danny Powick continued his scoring spree for Rovers with 48 as the side made 146. For United Ricky Campbell took 4/32. United were bowled out in the 40th over for 142. Campbell scored 32. For Rovers Adam Broderick took 3/14 and Josh Swan had a good double with 3/27 and 33 runs.
Wingham’s bowlers set up the win over Port City Leagues Magpies. Magpies batted first and were rolled in the 32nd over for 112. Jessie Schmidt, continued his run with the bat, scoring 43. In reply Wingham scored at four per over to reach 3/114 in the 27th over.
Nulla headed to Wayne Richards Park in Port to lock horns with undefeated League leaders Macquarie, where Nulla scored an upset win.
