School robotics program
Upper Lansdowne School has purchased eight WeDo 2 Lego boxes for their 2018 robotics program. This program will enable the school students to build different types of robots and bring them to life by coding them to perform different activities.
This is a very exciting initiative as it will support the students’ coding lessons by engaging them in meaningful play that will help develop their interest and motivation. It will also help develop the students’ logical and analytical thinking as well as creativity.
The Upper Lansdowne school’s vegetable garden will receive a makeover and eight brightly coloured raised garden beds as part of the 2018 Kitchen to Garden program.
The garden beds will bring the wow factor to the school’s entrance and each student will have the responsibility of looking after their own garden.
