The red carpet was rolled out as part of the formality of the occasion for students to parade down after they arrived to the venue in their chosen vehicle of transport.
Staff got into the spirit of the night by donning fancy dress wear.
The school’s staff wished the students all the best for the future as they embark on life beyond school.
Principal Margaret Hutchinson said the Year 12 Formal this week was a grand occasion and a great way to farewell our class of 2017.
“The students all looked magnificent in their formal attire, the venue was very carefully decorated, and all had a wonderful evening,” she said.
Mrs Hutchinson congratulated and thanked Mrs Devin, Mr Sainsbury, students and parents who assisted in the planning for and the excellent organisation of the evening.
“Thank you to the outgoing school leaders for their kind words and final thoughts,” she said,
“I look forward to hearing about where and what happens for each of the students in their future lives. "
